Krishna

 My Eternal Love

I took my pen

After a resting period

Only soul connections

Can move my pen

But then the thought of you

Made me wield my pen

The twinkle in your eyes

Made me go to my pen

The tone of you skin

Gave ink to my pen

The colourful peacock feathers

That adorned your crown

 Added colours to the ink

As I wrote the hues changed

With the emotions

I carried

Blues, blacks, green and purple

The flickering love within

Started glowing with warmth

With the mellifluous music

From your flute

I never get possessive

Even when you are amongst

Thousands of women

Cos’ I know you are mine

Unaltered you shower love

Makes me smile

On a stormy day

You make life tastier

With yummy butter and milk

In the lovely Vrindavan

My heart swings with you

Merrier my life becomes

With the thought of you

My Krishna

You can make me

A best version of myself

With your eternal love!
